Handmade Christmas

Christmas has passed, so I can now post pics of all of the lovely Christmas gifts I made last month! It was a lot of work, but it's so worth it in the end.

First, here is a cute kid-sized messenger bag I made for Em:

She has kind of outgrown my standard crayon tote, so I came up with this trendy style. As usual, I didn't write down the measurements. As usual, I want to make another to put in the etsy shop. When will I learn?! The strap is adjustable and the bag features one inside pocket and one outside pocket made with contrasting fabric. Magnetic snap closure.

The next bag was for my mom. It took a while, but was worth every minute.

This ultra-durable tote bag will hold whatever giant binders or books mom can throw in, and then some. Flap with magnetic closure, three inside pockets and one pleated outside pocket. The inside is lined with upholstery fabric because that's what I had available in my fabric stash it is heavy duty as well as sleek. 

My mother-in-law received this cute pleated tote with one inside pocket and a magnetic snap closure:

And I made one of these aprons for each of my two little nieces:

Overall, I am very pleased with how things turned out. I think all of the recipients were pleased as well!
